The Philadelphia Swing Dance Society !

The Philadelphia Swing Dance Society was created in 1987 and is still volunteer-run ! PSDS is one of the nation's largest, non-profit swing dance organizations that sponsors community swing dances to live music! Their super-friendly social dances are generally the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month with great live bands for most of the dances. All ages and skill levels are welcome. No partners necessary. The dance floor is huge and wood, the environment is alcohol and smoke free. They don't care whether you "Dress Up" in period costume or come casual. Whatever makes you happy !! Just come and dance, dance, dance and tell your friends to come and party with all of us too !!! Aerials Pre-requisite: couples who have taken 2 previous PSDS Workshops not involving "Swing Tools" or who have outside classes in Lindy or Jitterbug.

January & February - ROBERT CORDOBA teaches 18 West Coast Swing Workshops from 12:30 to 4:45pm Saturday and Sunday - all at the Commodore Barry Club !! Check back here for the names and times of the specific workshops.

We are bringing Robert in from Pasadena, CA and he is a 2-time U.S. Swing Dance Champion ! More importantly, Robert is one of the most friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable Swing Dance Teachers you will ever have the good fortune to experience !
